Life is Fun When We Try New Things and Do Work That Benefits Ourselves and Others, Including Natural Beings Like Insects and Microbes
The collaborative piece Metamorphosis:: Labor of Love included an outdoor compost garden with one giant sunflower and hazelnut trees outside the main gallery window of the Cross-Pollination exhibit at the Artisans Asylum in September 2024.
In 2026 there are many more sunflowers, and the hazelnut trees have called for fences to protect them from bunnies. The plants welcome visitors to say hello!
